Are gameport header pinouts standard?

My old motherboard has a cable+bracket for the gameport but does not have the pinout listed in the manual. My new motherboard has the pinout, but no cable+bracket. :|
 
thats how some mainbord manufacturers cut cost.. things are all 'optional' depending on the boxed vesrion you come across

I was gonna buy a MSI Nforce3 motherboard, over a ASUS KT800 but then i found that all the optional stuff on MSI , was in teh ASUS version at the same price.. so i got asus
