Are Enlight cases any good?(EN-72370x3)

I am going to upgrade soon and will need a new PS and might as weel go for a new case as well. I am planning on a GA-7dxr or an epox ep-8kya ddr mobos w/ 256mb ddr ram Crucial and a T-Bird 1.2/266. Is the PS in this anygood? It is 300w AMD approved, I will have 2 hdd's , SB-Live, 3com nic, 1 cdrom ,1 cdrw, Geforce2 gts, and a few extra case fans. I want to do some moderate OC'ing no super fancy Watercooling or Peltiers. For $50 and $10 shipping this looks like a very good deal from Newegg.

i just built my first computer with this case, it is nice. you should get another case fan and think about drilling the holes in the front of the case to let more air in. hope that helps.

That is the one I used for my wife's computer. I like it. It has Athlon, geforce2, 2 hard drives, network card, modem, etc and works great.

I've built most of my systems with this case since it's cheap and the quality is pretty good. It should have no problems handling all your components.

Stock enlight P-sup. is usualy a ~230 or 250w
But vendors can buy without the supply and sell it with whatever they want

The standard enlight supply is a little weak, but I never had one die on me

I've built three AMD rigs with that particular case + 300W Enlight PSU and have had no problems. I think the case and PSU are well built, solid performers and very good value for money.

This case is definitely a great buy for the money. I just recently built a 1.2GHz. system with specs similar to yours (although I only had 1 HD), and the power supply (a 300W Enlight) has been more than adequate. You do know you can only fit one extra case fan in there, right? Just asking because in your original post you said "a couple extra case fans." There's only room for one extra fan right below in the PS.

you can drill a hole below the first case fan on the back, theres enough room... i did that w/ mine


i have 2 of these cases

takes 2 seconds to enlarge the holes in the front, and i i cut out hte metal grill in the front as well


you could also make a hole on the top and on the side... but i havent done that

case provides good circulation

i have 3 panaflos and 1 adda fan in my sparkle ps

One thing about Enlight that irks me: I have an old AT case from them as well as a ATX 7237.Major downgrade on the thickness of the metal used in the new cases.Popularity went up...quality went down.

I have the 7237. Great case, lots of room to work in as well as expansion. Definitely put a rear case fan in that slot under the PS. It lowered my temps substantially. I think I paid $65 shipped with a 300w PS from Axion.

The 300W watt should handle it no problem especially if its the Sparkle PS. That's what I use.
