For my current temp job, the offer was 25$/hour. I said I'd need it to be 40$/hour for me to consider it and she emailed me back in 5 minutes saying ok 40 approved.

Makes me think I should have asked for 50$. I mean... 25 -> 40 isn't even close, its a different lifestyle for most people.

They are probably getting $75-100 an hour for you......:biggrin:

I'll get fuck tons of random emails from recruiters, pretty annoying. Does a service not exist where you get a real human who actually emails and contacts you..? Is it all completely spammed now a days?
There are many agencies that only use humans.
Almost everyone of them is not Indian.

I have a half dozen that I have used over the past 20 years; they know my skill set and $$ requirements.

They also know if I am working and the estimated time frame.

I get contacted by them only under certain criteria - none of them produce what I would consider spam.
