Are Durons/T-Birds FSB locked?

I know you have to use the "pencil-trick" to unlock the multiplier but can you change the FSB on one of these without connecting any bridges?

As long as your motherboard allows you to adjust FSB, then you can. But most people can only get to around 110 fsb. It's some limitation in the chipset itself

Yeah. I'm considering a KT133A based board though, so those should at least make it to 133mhz buss (they're spec'd for that). Basically I'm wanting to get an 800mhz Duron and bump the fsb to 125mhz to get 1 Ghz (if all goes well). I don't want to try connecting the bridges though b/c I have unsteady hands (terrible at soldering, so I'm assuming I'd be terrible with a conductive pen as well :))
