Are different areas of your hair going gray faster than others?

My beard hair seems to be going gray at a faster rate than the rest of my hair.

Yeah beard is graying faster for me too. But i have my 7 y/o pull the ones on my head when they pop up. Quarter/white hair. Negative quarters when he accidentally pulls a black one

I thought there were but I just checked and there don't seem to be any patches that are solid white. The graying seems to fairly well dispersed although there are areas where the percentage is higher. Overall I'd say maybe 20% gray but that might be high. It's really hard to judge.

My beard is reddish blonde brown. My chest hair is jet black, My scalp hair is still dirty blond and my nether regions are the same as always reddish like parts of my beard. A younger coworker just poked out a gray hair in his goatee which of course we popmeply pointed out.

I started growing my “skunk stripe” when I was in my early 20’s...BIG white stripe in the front to about halfway back...Can’t see it anymoer as it’s ALL gone gray/white....but I know it’s still there.

No gray or white yet but my hair is a bit of a lighter red than it used to, and around my mouth, my beard is also lighter. One thing I did notice is my hair does not grow as fast as it used to. I can pretty much get away with a hair cut twice a year now. I think my beard actually grows faster. Hopefully I don't lose the red any time soon.

My sides would be fully gray if I stopped coloring, same with my goatee. Not sure how much gray I have in the back, I never look, but the top of my head is a salt and pepper look.

I've noticed the exact opposite. My beard is still its natural color for the most part but my hair has more and more silver coming in. My wife tells me it looks distinguished but I believe that is her way of kindly telling me that I am getting old.

What happens if you bleach gray hair? I got different answers online. I think when I go 60% gray I might just bleach it. Then you'd have salt and pepper roots. That might be interesting.

Probably gets more grey, eh? I don't make superfluous appearance changes. At the point I'm in the bathroom fucking with my hair like a woman, I might as well go get the sex change to complete the package :^P
