Are dental braces necessary?

Hey all.

so I need to get my wisdom teeth taken out. Three of the four have fully gone through and the last one is trying as I am typing this. Problem is is that it has no place to go. It is causing one of my molars to twist, it friggin hurts!

My top two wisdom teeth have also cause one of my teeth to go a little crooked.

I have never had any medical insurance and this will be the first time I will be going to a dentist in over 8 years. I just have never had the money to take care of them before, and really I still do not but it absolutley needs to be done.

My question is that just based on all y'all's assumptions (assuming there is no dentists here) will I need braces to straightned out the teeth that have been made crooked by the wisdom once I get them taken out?

thanks!

That would be a waste of $ if your name is Billy-
Bob; or Bubba. In fact,if that is the case, getting braces would be seen as anti-social.

i hope you have a DMO or something.

my top of the line dental insurance (non-ppo non-dmo) only pays like 80% of major work/surgery, and is capped at $1500/year.

I just had one root canal done. $800 (does not include CROWN). I paid like $160 so far. Probably have to pay several hundred more.

Good luck dude. I have my last molar to come out too. Its damaged due to impaction, and may require surgery. I figure i'll be paying most of that bill out of pocket.

Get those damn molars pulled before they freak out!!
