Are Conservatives the most misinformed people in America?

Can someone explain the reasoning that someone would make a "Go back to Kenya" sign for the POTUS?

I totally get the hands off our guns but this?!?!?

His father Barack Obama Sr. was born in Siaya County, Kenya? Or are you just protecting the two-party system from cradle to grave?

Why would you want someone to "go back" to a country where he doesn't belong?

Shouldn't it be go back to Hawaii/ Chicago or Washington.. but Kenya?!?!

I'm not debating the 2 party system or free speech but all that free speech shows here are these people are misinformed/ misled or just plain uneducated.

Because the GOP is tied closely with religion. This usually attracts ignorant people when you tightly intertwine religion and a political party.

While people are clearly disgruntled by the current system (and with good reason) I am still unclear exactly what you are trying to protect with your blog posting.

Perhaps you are just looking for attention and typical of this Internet generation. How could anyone be able to stereotype whole groups of people so easily without it?

From my experience, whatever the label people have identified others or themselves as, I have met both good, bad and neutral kinds.

BTW, my mom was born in a European country, and I've been told a few times to go back there. But I have a thick skin and imagine a US President has an infinitely more impenetrable skin.

I hope this allows you to sleep better at night.

Sad but true, rural Oregon has some of the worst schools in the country.

Just look at the schmuck refusing to grant marriage license to SS couples.
Or the types that stand up at a Donald Trump event sounding off that Obama is a Muslim.
Pretty scary there are so many low educated, uneducated, non educated people in America.
And god forbid, all with the ability to vote.
OH THE HORROR.

Want voter suppression? Lets do some real voter suppression.
Before allowed to vote, first walk a straight line.
Then, answer the question "when was the last time you were abducted by an alien spacecraft?"
And last, how many religiously oppressed rednecks does it take to screw in a light bulb?
And maybe just one more... R U A republican? ;)

Gee whiz, I wonder where all these folks get that kind of information from?

I wonder why the folks who purposely spread this kind of information never thought to attach a disclaimer due to the extreme emotional damage to the listener's well being their information has caused? They could get sued because all those folks that believed that information have now become hate-filled angry souls with no way to expend that anger......oh wait, I forgot. A lot of them are very loyal and devoted Christians too, so it's all good.

I'm not sure if these kinds of things are evidence that we need more high speed internet access in rural areas or an argument for cutting them off from the internet entirely.

This isn't about being offended or people with thin skin. We are just wondering how people can be so fucking gullible. I mean, we know why, but it's still interesting to discuss. Take that person with the Kenya sign. That type of person will never be convinced of the truth because they do not want to know the truth. They just want justification to spread their hate.

Gee, usually people are smart enough to figure out how to fix their link within 5 or 10 minutes. Are you a conservative Republican? Or a liberal Democrat?

I'm betting he is actually the short guy holding the 'Go Back To Kenya' sign in the pic the OP posted.

That's easy,

keep the former middle class, now lower class preoccupied with bullshit,

while the elite 1%, both liberal and conservative, royally screw them with free trade agreements, ever decreasing wages, endless wars, dumb & dumber education system void of any real world skills like finance, industrial arts (you know working with your hands that is looked on as being beneath our educators and only for those that couldn't get into college), critical thinking skills, etc.

But wait it gets better, use Hollywood, Television, media in general to tell them what to believe, what to buy, while bankers extend them credit so they can buy things they don't need with money they don't have putting them into perpetual debt, tell them obesity is in vogue so they feel good about their unhealthy lifestyles, you can be whatever you want, just sign off on this Student Loan, we will worry about the details later, etc.

Now these people are struggling, angry, frustrated that the American Dream is becoming more of a nightmare, and in come The Rush Limbaugh types that direct that anger towards Liberals like that unAmerican muslim from kenya, in order to keep their eyes off big business and corporate types that want it all for them and none for you.

Likely, along with Progressives. Both extremes are bona-fide members of the idiocracy.

And through all of that, what's pretty ironic is that their all time favorite bullshit talking point about the entitled (the middle class and the poor) stealing from the rich because they'd rather collect welfare or unemployment benefits or food stamps than work includes millions of folks from their own party that can't find jobs due to their own Repub legislator's very rich benefactors and financiers off-shoring jobs and willingly keeping the borders open to keep exploiting the illegals for fun and obscene profits.
