Are civics selling for sticker where you're at?

I went car shopping today and the best they'd do was $500 under sticker. I just about went ape. Are the new Civic's that hot?

Asstasstic fuel prices are really raising the demand for fuel efficient vehicles. Especially those that are completely redesigned.

High demand vehicles are a dealers dream. Best bring the lube.

...which is exactly why I bought a 4 banger 🙂

Ford focuses around here are the same way. They are more popular here because the interior is larger. They are selling for almost sticker. I don't know the exact $ amount.

The other thing with the lower priced/end cars is that there just isn't as much wiggle room between the "invoice" and sticker price. A couple hundred bucks or so. Maybe approaching $1000 on some models. But still nothing like higher end cars, trucks, and SUV's that have thousands built into the sticker/MSRP price.

My idiot cousin just traded in his 2005 Civic for a Dodge Ram with V8. LOL

Well, if he actually had a need for the truck, there isn't much of a better time to capitalize. The civic probably retained about 95% it's value and the Ram was probably almost given away.

Certainly not a dumb decision based on that financial perspective.

hm, this maybe a good time to trade in my 4 banger accord for a GTO or something.

Too bad I wouldn't be able to fill it up after i pulled out of the parking lot. 😛

He just rides around in it....doesn't need it for hauling anything.

Edit: in fact he drove it 100 miles two days ago and was trying to brag to himself I guess about how good of gas mileage it got for that trip. 19mpg.

hey, for a ram v8, that's pretty darn good - we get 20-21 on our duramax chevy

and yes, pab, a friend just bought one, 5 different dealerships, most they would do was toss in floor mats and pinstriping at one...but only like 2-300 off stickers, i was shocked and awed!🙂

hah, only if its used for a job and earns its keep🙂 thats unlikely

The Civic and the Fit are selling well around here... one dealer was completely out of stock last week when I checked. They had close to 40 Accords... but only had one Accord Hybrid.
