Are CD rates going much higher?

What are your opinions?

Edit: I have 2 year CD at 5% APY with an option to bump anytime I choose. I am 6 months into it already.
 
By rates, do you mean the spin rate, such as 52x? If that is what you mean, I have read that they can't go much faster than they currently spin or the media will have too high of a failure rate (ie. the disk will fly apart in the drive.)

yep, or melt. that's also the reason why DVD drives haven't gone higher than 16x yet.
