Are CCNA/MCSE etc. bootcamps worth while?

There was a thread or two on this in the past week, might want to check those out.

$5k for a few days? No way, not at all, no question about it.

$5k for 3 days is total insanity. I am sure it would be better to pay $1k to a guy to give you one on one tutorial for three days. In fact, I'm positive of it.

"Bootcamps" are not the way to go for primary education.

If anything, they are good for when you have most of the topics down, either through study or experience, and you want to cover the likely test topics to make sure you've "filled in teh gaps."

$5K is not worth it for any kind of coverage in a three day period. Most bootcamps I've heard of are 10-14 days long (and 8-12 hours a day, every day, even the weekends).

Try an Academy course or some other technology school.

Good Luck
