I've only ever seen them around easter, although Cadbury's seem to think that Easter starts in January and ends in May.

I think they are available all year, but it depends on the retailer. I used to work for Eckerds, and I know whatever they had in stock depended on the manager's choice. If you really want them, you can ask your local manager nicely, and he may stock it year round. Else, just look for it in abundance around easter and stock up. Chocolate's good for a long time, I think

According to this site:

<< Maybe surprisingly, Cadbury's only deliver their creamy treats to shops for sale between January and Easter. Cheeky shopkeepers (who just know we can't resist 'em), usually buy enough to last well beyond this, so that's why they always seem to be around! >>

The ones sold in the US aren't made by Cadbury though; they are made by Hershey under license from Cadbury. The Creme Eggs are listed on the hershey site as a seasonal product.

Seasonal. The commercial even says so, and has for years.

"...But you better hurry, because just like the Bunny, they'll be gone after Easter." (or something like that)

If you find them after Easter, you are buying clearance or old products.

I think they are only around during Easter. I love the Cadbury Mini eggs but I can only find them during Easter.
