Are banks closed today?

There are a lot of bank closures in commonwealth countries but everything should be open in the USA.

Maybe in MA because they make up stupid holidays.
Stupid holiday or an acknowledgment to the fact that a few people stood up that now allow others to live here in the US and state their mind?

I would lean toward the later.

They were freaking closed yesterday (the in-store ones that are usually open a half day on sunday). I hate this crap. I can't believe so many places close for Easter.

LOL. I love "stupid" holidays! 😀

<---- On the end of a 4 day weekend (with Friday and Monday paid of course!) 😀

I hate how banks don't allow electronic payments on holidays. It's an electronic payment, no humans needed! Such a scam...

I wonder if it still needs to be processed and checked by someone for final approval.

Same with electronic transfers, etc. Also, hate the fact that you can't do transfers/payments on the weekend (processed next business day bullcrap)!

9/11..

after this date, basically all wire transfers will be monitored.

anything over $3,000 gets a second look.

anything over $10K gets a look from the person in charge.

but all of this is after the "Dead-beat-dad" database comparison.

Independance day anyone?

Get serious though. Do you think that people spend the day paying hommage to the men of the revolution, or do you think they sit around neffing or watching crappy daytime TV.

As far as getting a day off because of Easter... why would anyone do that? It's not like people who work a M.-F/Sa. job would have worked on Sunday if it wasn't Easter anyway.
