Are any of you Diabetic and use the pump?

I have been diabetic for about a year now and was curious about the insulin pump. I have been using the basic syringe up till now and wanted to know what your experience is like with the pump. Also, if you could explain to me how exactly does it attach to you? Any info would be great.
 
No Skillz, my son has type 1, and we are looking at putting him on the pump. The only good info I can tell you is that it only releases fast acting insulin steadily over time, with bolusts when you eat. I also know that the pump is not cheap at all.
