Are all your Win2k folders shared by default?

Security advisors are always warning people to make sure folders are unshared when connecting to the 'net without a firewall.

To my surprise, I noticed in Win2k that all my drives have been shared by default (when I right click on the drive, go to properties, then sharing). Is this how it's supposed to be?
I don't have "file and printer sharing" enabled though.

They all have default admin shares: i.e. c$, e$, etc. Which means only the administrator can access them, and they aren't visible when you browse a network.
