Are all Xeon P4's HT?? and IF so, how do you turn it off?

I have a dual Xeon P4 system, 2.6 ghz each. When i check Task Manager in Windows, it shows 4 processors.

is that really advantages?? is there any point in doubling the number of available cpu's in a duallie system? especially when very few programs can take advantage of 2 cpus as it is?

how do i turn of HT?

You should be able to turn off HT in the motherboard's BIOS. I don't know if WinXP can use more than two processors, either virtual or physical... anyone?
