Are all xbox 360 hard drives usable in all xbox 360s?

My brother and I both have xboxes and instead of bringing mine home, I left it at college over the break and just brought home my harddrive to swap out. Saved a lot of work.

The only problem with doing this is there are some content that you download that is only available to play on your Xbox 360 even though it's on your hard drive.

Be careful toting your gamertag around to different machines. Lots of people are losing all of their saves by apparently handling it the "wrong" way.

Only if you aren't signed in to the Live Gamertag that purchased the content.
