Are all university courses in sociology really really leftist?

This is actually kind of funny. I am very good friends with a guy who has his masters in sociology.
And he couldn't be more right. Its actually kind of funny.

I tend to give him jabs every so often asking him if he really knows what field he is in.
He doesn't seem to see the humor, but I didn't pick that field.

I wouldn't say leftist......rather PROGRESSIVE.

Even Sociological "must-reads" like Marx-Engel had society's best interests in mind froma theoretical stand-point.

It's the dogmatic, power-mongering Communists that tweak well-intended literature to serve their twisted needs. Marx lit, in the right hands, can do a world of good. It's people like Stalin where messgaes get mixed.

...............The same can be said for the Bible or Koran, where words are twisted and fed as dogma to the ignorant masses by mal-intentioned priests who DEMAND obedience as the chosen Representatives of God on Earth........puhlese! :confused:
