A. Absolutely not. It is our stated purpose to remain part of the United States. We also, as a movement, do not want to “open the borders,” “let all the illegals in and live off the dole,” etc. Our movement even includes people who believe that our border with Mexico should be totally sealed off. Start Our State does not have a singular vision for how our new state government should run; we plan to elect our own state legislature to debate these issues and pass laws addressing the issue.
