Are all the multis (CPU, QPI, Uncore, Mem) changeable or locked?

2:6 is 133x6 = 800Mhz, 2:8 is 133x8=1066Mhz. You need a higher multi or a higher bclock to use DDR3-1333 @ 1333/

So is there any performance difference between the two? Like if I get a DDR3 1333 kit will dropping down the divider make the system perform any less?

They are changeable, but only to a point. I am not quite sure what you are asking though, TBH. Uncore frequency ranges from 12x to something like 30x, which is crazy high. Cpu multi on the 920 I believe is ranging from 12x to 20x/21x if you include turbo. Memory frequency ranges from 6x to 12x, possibly 14x, not sure. I use the 6x b/c my memory isn't really fast and I have a high BCLK. QPI is somewhat more restrictive, you should select the lowest normal mode, 48x, when overclocking a 920. There is also slow mode, but I think that would be way too slow.

Cool. I am wondering cause I also have a 1333 kit and am considering using the 6 multi. I hear you are suppose to have the uncore > = 2x the memory multiplier. So, i kinda was curious. Plus I'm looking to use the lowest CL for my memory and am hoping on hitting a CL5 at 1200 with the kit I have. Thanks Shmee :)

I think they are all changeable to a certain degree. That amount will vary depending on the CPU (for instance only extreme edition chips let you go above the turbo mode speed) and whether your motherboard BIOS allows it.
