Are all quiet people introverts?

Sometimes people are real quiet as a calculated measure. You learn many more useful things that way and get a rep as a good listner. As an added bonus if you are the anxious, worried type you look cool and collected simply by shutting up. What bums me out is that sometimes I get quiet because I'm trying to process how I feel about what's been said,to not speak too hastily and make an ass of myself and people assume I'm mad or something. That bums me out when it happerns because when I get quiet it's usually because I'm anxious about saying or doing the right thing.

I don't want to make blanket statements, but I'm trying to think of any "quiet" types that I know that I wouldn't also characterize as introverted. Is it possible to be one of those people that says nothing in a group, and yet you get your energy from being with that group?

I'll talk if you talk to me first but thats about it. 😱
