Are all of you guys that are recording 1ghz overclocks using watercooling? Or is it possible to get this high of an overclock with just good regular cooling?
 
Air cooling here!!! And not even the highest cfm fan avavilable....Very possible with 1.6 and 1.8 chips...Gets a little less likley to hit 3.0ghz withoud top nothch air cooling or water cooling..

I have my 1.6 northwood at a modest gigaherta overclock 😀

Oh yeah stock heatsink so Its very possible to get good results with out the water mess.
