If you go to Intel.com, their list of Sspec codes suggests that they come in both flavors, cBo and cCo. I had looked into the 667 for the same reason you are. I was not as encouraged as I was with the success rates of folk hitting 633@950. I ended up picking up a 633 (cCo stepping) and it runs stable at 979@1.80v, runs cool at an average 32C. To me that's 1 gig.
How (and where) did you find a cCo 633? At a show, or from a willing retailer? Very cool on the o/c! I think that's close enough to a gig to be called a gig, unless you're real anal about it.
I found mine on this forum's "For Sale/Trade". You might post for "WTB: Celeron 633 cCo stepping". Worth a shot. Also some sites like Atacom.com, PcNut.com, Azzo.com, have 1-800 #'s, and knowledgable staff. Good Luck.
