I have many music cd's in my car and their's two of them that I play the most. I have a Kid Rock cd which skips at any little crack or bump in the road that I hit. I also have an Audioslave cd and I can hit the same cracks and bumps in the road but it won't skip. I can't figure out why this is happening, does anyone know? Neither disks are scratched, they are both fairly new. Are some disks more sesitive than others? I am completely baffled by this.

No. Since a CD is manufactured, there can certainly be manufacturing defects.

I have heard of two people getting the exact same CD at the same time, yet the sound quality of one was different..
