Are the outside material of LV bags, are they using real leather or are they all synthetic leather?

Do you go out of your way to be a prick or are you just that anti-social normally?

I go out of my way. Seriously.. buying designer stuff is laughable. And caring about them is just as silly.

Oh I don't like LV or anything.

Just that I have a bet going. I think they use REAL leather, why else would it cost so much.

Even if I was, theres better ways to blow your money then buying "expensive" stuff. If I had a million bucks in my bank account right now, I'd still be driving my Crown Victoria.

Dork... Some people spend $500 on video cards to play games, other people spent $500 on a bag that they use every day.

I'm not justifying either - my wallet cost $200 but was a gift from a boss, though I do appreciate the craftsmanship and would pass it along to the son I may or may not have in the future. A $500 video card? Obsolete in a year.

Though I always buy expensive stuff marked down massively at Century 21 or Marshalls. Got a $399 messenger bag for $60!

I won't say it's all leather since they've diversified quite a bit, but the vast majority of their products are. It's a very old company with a reputation for fine leather luggage and other leather goods...wouldn't make much sense to compromise that reputation too much.

I find people who spend way out of their means disturbing - I've seen kids who work at Circuit City drive lexuses. But I would love to be financially secure enough to RESPONSIBLY buy the finest clothing and drive a nice car. There's nothing wrong with that. Besides, designer clothes do look better than that k-mart crap, and women appreciate a well dressed man ;)

It's all relative, no use trashing people when your ambitions are different than theirs.

Haha, you bet. Keeping animals in your house as pets makes no sense whatsoever. Having a true security dog or hunting dog makes sense, but having a pet is just silly.

Nope. To each his own. But $400 bucks for a bag is stilly pretty damn funny.

Hm..and I'm contemplating on getting my gf a $1500 Marc Jacobs editor's bag..

My wallet is inexpensive at $60 from a nice little select shop and it's beautiful. Get's people's attention and I care for it.

Have you given a name to the stick that's lodged up your a$$? Wouldn't that be a pet, then?

LV is real leather. the coat them with some stupid carp though.

i have one. $1,200. was a gift from my sister. i would never, ever pay that kind of money for a LV. I also have a Fendi bag and matching wallet that someone else paid over $800. for. And when they needed money more than they needed the FEndi stuff, I gave them $200. bucks for it.

I have a collection of COACH handbags though. And i guess if i were to sell all my coach stuff... handbags, wallets, change purses, shoes, watches, keychains, wristlets...etc. i could buy a car.

Speaking of LV stuff, my roommate's sister recently picked up a LV knock off from china town. Real leather, soft and well crafted too. She put her real, $1,000 bag next to the $80 knock off and I couldn't tell the difference. She'd rather take the knock off out clubbing, which I find kinda funny.

Sounds like you like talking about how much money you spend on things. for materialism!

Hell, I wouldn't ever spend good money on something to keep my money in, as that seems like a waste of money. I keep my credit cards, ID's and money in my pocket with a rubber band wrapped around it. ;)
