Are all LCD's like this? (viewing angle)

I notice that when I'm looking at my monitor, it looks good at the top of the screen, but at the bottom the colors look a little light and hazy(due to the viewing angle). When I move my head down they look better, but the top starts to look a little too dark. Is there no position where the whole monitor looks the same?
Btw, its a NEC 1760V.

Yes... although some LCDs now have wider viewing angles so it's not as bad.

The screen on my Compaq 1510T is the same way.
