Are all Free Email Forwarding services gone?

First it was BigFoot, then Iname, now Yahoo.

I know the net is not free anymore, but there's gotta be some free stuff still around.

Any links will be very appreciated.

Thanks,
WW

Services cost money, you do get what you pay for. You could try hotmail but I think thats about it. I'm not even sure if hotmail does it though.

right now hotmail is free for the basic email program. you have to pay if you want to keep more than 50 emails in your inbox and stuff like that. i think there is some other restrictions too but they keep changing it. i figure they will start charging soon.

Canada.com offer free forwarding... but they will close the account if you dont login once every 30 days. Plus you are stuck with the @canada.com address. 🙂

I believe the bigfoot basic service is still free, they'll forward up to 25 emails a day for free, assuming you'll agree to let them include smm and ad junk in your emails as well. I think that's a pretty fair balance.....

what are you talking about? the only restriction is you have to login onlline every 30 days and you have to keep the account under 2 megs (for free service).

Wow... thanks for the replies.

I'm glad to know that hotmail still gives free forwarding, but I swore it off when MS bought that company. I'm in the process of breaking all my ties to the mighty monopoly, so there is no way in hell I'll be taking back steps on my journey. So thanks, but no thanks.

Canada.com would be a good option, but 30 day login isn't something I could keep up with. Heck I can't even remember to take showers every 30 days... :disgust:

I think I've signed up with spamhole a couple months ago. To tell you the truth I'm not sure why I'm not using it. I have to go back and look why. Maybe I got interrupted during my tests and forgot about it. Hey don't laugh, you'll get old someday and ... huh?

So that brings me back to bigfoot and why I dropped it. As tagej mentioned, they now require the right to SPAM you. At the time they changed, it was absurd to keep their service since I had other choices. But now with the field narrowed down to almost nothing I think I'll try them again. Maybe they have a way that I can filter their email into a "NeverOpen" folder.

It's just sad to see the free forwarding disappear. I bet what pushed it over the edge were the mofo SPAMmers.

Thanks again guys,
WW
