Are all browsers crap, or just MSIE? Or, is it maybe my PC?

I generally have to use MSIE because may of the web sites I use for business require it. Lately, a lot of embeded videos freeze, and web pages never load, and it wont even change tabs smoothly or quickly. One web site that seems to always give me problems is weather dot com. But, facebook also kills it sometimes. What could be the problem and solution?

You are not the only one. I was having many of the same issues but not until I updated to 11. Seems either MS or the sites themselves are slowly fixing a lot of the issues but in the mean time try turning on compatibility view settings and adding sites that act up as you go.

Vertical-market software tends to be tied to IE. Often, you can use other browsers, but it takes specific workarounds. If they use ActiveX, there's no hope but IE.

I hardly use IE, unless I must, but I just tried loading Weather.com in IE 11 and FF. The initial rendering was much quicker in FF, and just scrolling the page is fine, whereas in IE it is delayed and jerky.

I've run into lots of similar issues with sites in IE11. I dont know why MS needs to reinvent the wheel with every single version of their browser, but a lot of even big name websites simply do not work right in IE11 at this time.

I've had the same problems, even cruising here at AT. Sometime the page will only load the flash ads... but not the rest of the page. Definitely gotten worse with IE11.
