Are all 4 channels on the Abit KT7A-Raid ata100 and can I use 4 different devices all set to master?

Here's my problem.

I have 1 x dvd-r
1 x cd-r
2 x HD

I want to achieve the best performance so I would like to have each device set as master on each of the 4 controllers (normal + Raid), is this possible and does it pose any problems? I remember something in the documentation mention not to have a cdrom on the Raid controller or something and do all 4 channels also support ata100?

Thanks for any feedback you can provide.

definitely wrong forum.

since you have 2 regular (primary and secondary) and 2 raid/ATA100 channels (primary and secondary), you can hook up the dvd and cd as regular masters (one primary, the other secondary) and hook the hard drives up as masters on the raid channels (one primary, one secondary). did the same thing on my raid motherboard.

Wrong forum BUT put the hard drives on the raid channel and the cdroms on the motherboard headers, you shouldnt have a problem with it, I know I don't.
