are abit nf7s v2.0 so bad??

I have an abit nf7s v2.0 and I read in the forums that they are not good at all when trying to overclock
I dont have suitable cooling and I havent overclocked yet
:)

my nf7s overclocked much better that the asus a7n8x i suded toown. the asus wouldnt even boot my 2400 at 200mhz fsb, even when jacking up the core voltage. the abit does it at stock voltage with no problems

Bad??? That must be a post from an idiot (MeowCat) that is spaming here, a guy who says Nforce 2 boards are gay (I don't get it) and that Via is the way to go. As I said earlier just an idiot. NForce 2 is the best platform for AMD and it's the best way to overclock. NFS7s 2.0 is a great board as it is A7N8X Deluxe 2.0 and most of Nforce 2 400/400U.

The Abit NF7-S R2 is one of the best motherboards for overclocking Socket A chips. Paired with an inexpensive Barton chip it is awesome.

Can't say it any better. I got my 2500+ up to 2.42GHz (220FSB) on my NF7-S v2.

Can't say it any better. I got my 2500+ up to 2.42GHz (220FSB) on my NF7-S v2.

My 1700+ is busy doing 200x10.5 at the mo and its rock solid. I reckon i'll hit the chip and ram limitation before the board will stop me.
