Are 760's still worth anything/should I use the 760 for physx?

It would make a good PhysX card, but if you don't play games that need it then I would sell it and put the money towards a GM200 when they release.

I was trying to find a reason to keep the card but I guess there really is no point.

Considering there's no reason to keep it, what does everyone think a fair price for it would be? :hmm:

We are unable to tell you that, it's against the rules of the forum. Fair pricing is between the buyer and seller.

Do a search and see what used cards are going for.

You can't ask for prices on these forums. HOWEVER....

A Radeon R9 280 outperforms a 760. The R9 280 can be had for $150.00 after rebate.

So you can use that to help figure out a fair price for your 760. ^_^

Fair price is what someone will pay for it. Not what a competing cards performance is.
He should see what GTX 760s are going for in his marketplace and tailor the card accordingly. Not sell it based on what AMD cards are selling at.

Even if a GTX 760 and R9 280 were the exact same performance level, you'd still get more money for a GTX 760 than a R9 280.

I run a gtx780ti as my primary and a gtx760 for my secondary display. The nvidia driver defaulted my physx to the 760 after I installed it. I really don't need two cards but I have a problem with citrix so I decided to try a 3rd gpu in my system and ended up leaving it in. My game play doesn't feel any different with the 760, however I haven't run any benches on it so I don't have anything to offer for comparison.

😛 do you think a 760 is worth more or less than a 670?

They're worth the same amount in my opinion. GTX 760 is newer, but at stock speed, GTX 670 is very slightly faster. If you're trying to figure out an asking price for the GTX 760 by looking at GTX 670's others have sold, keep in mind that a 670 has probably been in use for longer.
