Arctic Silver or Ceramique?

I've read this a few times on different threads in the last couple days. I'm currently using AS5 but I have no qualms about going out and buying some Ceramique if the capacitative nature of AS5 is truly dangerous. I'm of course overclocking my system, not sure if that makes any difference.

Its not dangerous. Lots of peeps use it with NO prob. However, if your gonna spread it ALL over the place (ie, where it doesn't belong and shouldn't be in the first place) you can have probs.

Unless you have no clue what your doing and spread it all over everywhere, using AS5 will not cause you any problems.

i love AS5. I have it on my CPU, graphics card, and i'll probably put it on my northbridge as soon as i'm sure i won't have any need to RMA the board or anything. My temps for the CPU are great, idling at about 25C and only hitting 33C during Prime95 and other CPU intensive stuff.

Just follow the instructions on the Arctic Silver website. Make sure that you get the center of the CPU covered.

I have a P4 3.2E, and it idles at 35C with AS5, a Zalmun 7000AlCu, and a 80mm fan in a thermal duct pointed at the CPU.
