Hi, got a stick of Ceramique a week ago.

before i apply it. my cpu was a P3-700e@933mhz
very stable at 933(133fsb), but when put it to 140fsb, very unstable. crash the first run of 3dmark01, 03

this is how i apply it, don't know if it's correct or not:
i cleaned the cpu and the hsf(Golden Orb) with Goof Off.
wipe it 20 to 30 times to make all those white stuff off(visually). it was a Radio Shack Compound.

then i put just about 1.5mm(just very little) on my P3 cpu.(it is kinda small, the core is about 1cmx1cm)

i use credit card to spread all over the core. and put even smaller on the hsf.

then i put everything altogether. run into bios, set the fsb to 140mhz. and set the voltage from 1.75v to 1.85v

now i am running at 980mhz. 47mhz more which i am very satisfy.

running result:
set 3dmark01 running for loop., after 33times and it still running. no crash, no blue screen.
was getting 6189 now 6400.

however, when booting into windows.,
the bar runs 1.5 time when it was 933. now it runs 2 times.

the first few times, all applications seems not as fast, but very wierd, after a few run, things to run faster than before.

this is my experience to the Arctic Silver Ceramique.

i haven't try any other except Radio Shack Heat Sink Compound
