Arctic Silver and new HSF installed...............should I wait to stress test?

Should I wait until I run a stress test like Prime95? I thought I remember reading that the Arctic Silver "breaks-in". Will running the CPU at 100% right away help, hurt, or make no difference?

Won't help or hurt. The temperature readings may be a little higher right off than they will be after the compound has settled in, but it won't make any difference if it starts running at 100% right away. It might even settle the compound faster.

It won't hurt anything - but A/S needs about 72 hours to fully cure. Try it today, tomorrow, and the next day and see if it gets better.
