Arctic silver 5

Does arctic silver 5 have a shelf life? I read the site FAQs and it just said keep in cool dry place. I have had it for about a year and a half now and its been in my room the whole time. Temps in my room are between 65f and 75f usually. It seems to be moist still and there is plenty for the application of the vf-900 I have on the way for my new 8800gt. Should it be ok to use still?

Thanks in advance.

I believed after awhile it will separate in the tube.

Really late edit:
I don't know how long it takes for separation to occur. however I'm certain that if you were simply to just stir the paste back together than it will work just fine. Now of course if temperatures go up higher than previous burn in time temps, then remove the paste and get a new tube.

I actually had the same question. I stumbled onto a tube I had meant to use like 2 years ago and wondered if it was worth the trouble to try to use it, or just buy a new tube.

I'm curious though...why would it expire?
