Arctic Silver 5 + 9800 Pro Memory Chips

Is it wise or safe to slap some AS5 on the memory chips of a 9800 Pro or any video card for that matter...it would seem to me that it would be fine...

I would think that you'd want to use a thermal adhesive, no AS5, otherwise the ramsink won't stick. I think I also read somewhere to use non-conductive stuff, whereas AS5 is conductive (I think).

Like he said before, the ramsinks won't stick with a thermal paste, you need thermal adhesive. Artic Siler makes some, but its not worth the hassle. Just use the sticky adhesive that comes on the ramsinks.
