Arctic Silver 3 and Pentium 4c Heatspreader

Hello everyone:

I was wondering when applying Arctic Silver 3 on a Pentium 4c with heatspreader, is one supposed to cover the hole as well? The last time, I applied it on the entire surface of the P4c3.2Ghz except the hole and then put the Zalman CNPS7000Cu HSF on top of the CPU.

Temps, when I did the install on July 24th... idle was 33c and full load was 38c. Now, the FSB is at 233. idle is 38c and full load is 43c. I don't have AC and windows are all shut as neighbors tend to take things when they put their hand inside the windows. My idle temp seems 5c higher than the case temp.
