Good catch Thad.........I'd quit watching ewiz for the cooler. Guess I shouldn't have given up so soon!

This is a pretty great cooler for those who are intiminated by backplates and shorting something out and such.

Install took a paltry 5 minutes, and I've never installed a S-775 heatsink before.

I'm overclocked to 3.4GHz and I idle in the low 40s (with my computer desk door SHUT) and in the high 30s with it open. Full load under Orthos NEVER comes close to 60C and games rarely hit 50C.

You could say I've got some headroom left but 3.4GHz is fine

Interesting. Shipping for one via UPS Ground to 77474 (Texas) is $9.12. Shipping for two is $9.89.

How does this compare to the various tower HSF units such as the Katana or the Thermalright 9775 ? It has a smaller fan, but if its performance is close, I'm in for one.

Just Google it, this is a super cooler, don't judge by the price.

Bought it ... found a few reviews and it seems like it will pair up well with a 6600. Great price .. I couldn't help but give it a try for under $20 !! My current rig is loaded with 4 120mm fans and the noise is deafening, even with them turned down to a lower rpm .. I then lose the cooling advantage and up go the temps.

Great cooler. It runs my E6300 at 3.1GHz with temps in the low 40's. Ewiz combines items for shipping, so this goes well with that deal for Supertalent DDR2-667 RAM.
