From what I remember, neither work with the 7900gt or I'd be in for one.

For X1800 and X1900 users here is a good description of the performance you will get from the X2. Using ATI Tool crank your video card fan up to 100%. It will be unbearably loud but your temps will look great. Now subtract a few degrees and make it silent. Basically that's what you should be getting with the Accelero.
