Has Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 been reviewed by Anandtech?
Please provide link if it has.
I would like to see how it compares to other coolers for Core 2 duo.

Have you checked the heat sink reviews at the top of this forum? It can give you some coparisons of effectiveness versus other coolers.

That post was last edited on 11/16/2006.

I am wondering why it does not show on recent reviews by Anandtech like this.

Is it that bad? It sure is not as bad as the stock cooler, is it?

The Arctic freezer 7 is one of those heatsink that is a true bang for buck heatsink!!

Iwould not consider a teir 1 heatsink but I would not consider a teir 2 heatsink.....it`s truly in the middle...

It is a fine heatsink in its own right!!

Before I order one, I'd like to see whee it sands between the stock cooler and the best cooler.
I have a Thermalright U-120 extreme. It is too heavy. I am willing for the temperature to go up a little bit if I get a lighter cooler. But, not too much.

Is there any comparison that includes Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 as well as Thermalright U-120 extreme or Tuniq Tower or whatever?

you have your search engine...but let me tell you don`t be suprised if things are not as you want them to be when you finally install whatever heatsink you decie on...

heatsinks can be really interesting items..form one computer to the next...things can be totally different!!

The freezer pro 7 is suppose to be a pretty good heat sink, from what I've read online. It's mid-high in terms of cooling abilities, and relatively cheap when compared to other heat sinks that offer similar cooling.

It's something I've been looking into as well. Unless you're looking for really good cooling, this would be a pretty good buy. It is, however, gigantic lol.

If you dont mind the size, and aren't too keen on cooling, then I say go for it.

Gimmi a pm if you get it, and tell me how it peforms =P
