I am thinking of getting the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro for an E6420 OC ... plan on running around 3GHz in an Antec 900 case. The price is really nice, the fan is quiet and I have read its a great budget cooler.

Is this a suitable cooler for my plans tho?

At ewiz its an ok price, but I personally wouldn't get one unless I could get it for $20 shipped or less. Even then I would feel a bit resentful, the ideal price would be $15 shipped (same price I got a Freezer 64 Pro from at the egg a few days ago). Then again, I'm really cheap lol.

IMO, $29 shipped from eWiz.com is a pretty darn good deal, compared to $60 at the Egg. Heck, I saw in someone's sig that they were using one to o/c a QX6700 to 3Ghz. I'm getting one to replace the stock hs & try for 3+Ghz as well. I'd say go for it...

yeah but newegg is overpricing on that for some reason; it used to be pretty close in price to ewiz. here's how i'd say it is...

$60 (newegg) = HORRIBLE
$30 (ewiz) = fair
$20 = good
$15 = damn good!

Yeah, I don't get why the Egg hasn't dropped the price on those. Cripes, I reckon if you're gonna drop 60 wampum, might as well get a Tuniq or a Thermalright Extreme...
