Anyone tried this and got good results? Looks like it is going for the lower $30 range.

Are there other coolers you would recommend for the X1900 series? Thanks all !!!

I had it for a week now. So far, my impression is mixed.
The good thing about it is it very quite compare to the stock.
As for overclocking, it doesn't help me at all compare to the stock heatsink.
Is it worth the $30? For me, nope!

In my experience with the Zalman VF700-Cu aftermarket GPU cooler you aren't going to gain significantly higher overclocks with an aftermarket coolers but you will run at lower temperatures and with less noise on cards with weak stock coolers. This of course depends on the cooler you are replacing and from what I've seen the X1900 cards already come with pretty heavy duty stock coolers so there may be no cooling benefit at all. I can attest to the low noise of the Zalman cooler but since the X1900 cards already run pretty hot with large stock coolers you may gain little or no cooling benefit from an aftermarket cooler.

I've recently seen the effects of long exposure to high temperatures on an overclocked video card and even though it is running stable now you may be causing permanent damage over a long period of time. Something to consider when messing around with the single most expensive component in most people's systems.
