Hello, thanks for taking a look at my topic!
I mistakenly broke my i3 4160 stock cooler and the temperatures went high, 50 - 60 when idle 90 - 100 while playing games, so i looked for a cheap cooler and i've found "ARCTIC ALPINE 11 PRO REV. 2" in my area. So i am wondering if this one would be good enough for my CPU and cool down the temps like 30 - 32 (like i used to have before) when idle, should i buy it or look for another one?
Sorry but i don't have much knowledge about computers :/

That's not a great cooler and is built very cheaply. Is there any other options available?

I don't know how to remove the board(msi h81m-p33) but are you sure that Arctic alpine 11 is not recommended for my CPU? Max TDP is 85 or 95W while my i3 is 54W, it seems like there's no good cooler around my area but i can try to check another town when i get a chance and my PSU is 430W.

I use an Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 with my I5 4690K. My idle temps are 32C.

Depends on what hes doing. Is he going to overclock ? If not get a cheap cooler and it will do the job. If your going to overclock then you need a powerful cooler like a Noctua or a Hyper 212 or AC Freezer which are about 30 bucks

Sorry for my OFF TOPIC. I truley apologize, I just didn't know where to go so I found this thread with bunch of mods. Sorry again for detracting OP. My suggestion still stands as to what cooler you should get and why.

He unfortunately cant get most of the aftermarket heat sinks or even the 20 dollar cryog sink i linked because he lacks the ability to remove board. That limits his heatsink to what iron woode suggested, and thats the freezer 13, because it uses the push pin.
