Any users of this product? I still have hard time believing that you can image XP while running XP. All reviews of it are great and people claim it blows away Norton Ghost.

I've used Acronis True Image 9, but not 9.1. And its true, you can image XP while you're in XP, and the program works great. It's very easy to use, and its pretty fast too. I haven't really used ghost much, but i had a hard time using it the last time i tried it. I'd definately recommend true image 9 though. Its a very nice program.
 
I use Ghost because its packaged with Norton Systemworks 2006 Premier (Norton Anti-Virus). It's available on eBay inexpensively.

I never used Acronis, but what I read about it, it must be good too. Using Ghost has always been easy for me. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to use it. You open the program, select your primary, pick your destination and go.

If it couldn't do that well, then people wouldn't make one of the best selling utilities in the world. It's your choice when it comes down to it.
Go with what works for you.
 
Another long time Acronis user here. You most definitely can Image while in XP. I have restored from those Images also.

Restored to a RAID 0 array also. Good product.
