What is arcnet? and can the nics be used on a home lan? so that I can crunch rc5 with some old pc's

Arcnet is a Token Passing Star topology network, used alot before ethernet, You need Arcnet Hubs, RG-62 Cable, and drivers (DOS I know works, I Dont think windows ever had an arcnet driver)
