archos jukebox hd durability?

I'm not sure if this is quite the right place to post this question (could somebody recommend a better forum to post it on?)
I was thinking of getting an archos jukebox (either 6000 or Recorder), how durable is the hd? I'll most frequently use it in my backpack riding to school, or in my pocket walking around. will the hd hold up to this while it's spinning?
 
I have a jukebox 6000, and I have had no problems at all with skipping. The archos has a 2mb buffer so it only spins up every 2 mintues any way, dont worry I have had no problems running on a treadmill.
