Archos Jukebox 6000 Problem.

Hi everyone. I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but here goes.
I have a 2 year old Jukebox 6000 MP3 Player/external 6 GB USB hard drive ( for those of you who do not know what they are).
It worked perfectly up until a few weeks ago. It just went dead completely. I changed the batteries with those recommended by Archos (the manufacturer)
but still nothing worked. I removed the hard drive and tested it with a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter in my desktop. Hard disk is OK.
I hope somebody in this forum knows what I can do to repair this unit. Archos is of no help whatsoever.

Thanks in advance.

Well heres a bump for ya.

I'm not sure what will be wrong with it, I have one too....I find mine 50/50 on reliability...has various hard drive errors (stops for periods of time, spins down and up the drive, cuts out, crashes)...and the battery life sucks.

So yours may have given up the ghost....mine is about 18 months old so maybe I only have 6 months left :(
