The Archbishop is the highest ranking member of the catholic church to be convicted in regards to child sex offenses.

If child sex abuse is condoned at the highest levels and the laws of man have to bring the holy in line with what will be tolerated by society. What hope is there for the catholic church?

I remember when my cousin married into a staunchly catholic family and he had to convert. Anyway. Their first child was born and they had a full catholic baptism. We were standing out the front of the church and the priest was talking to a small boy. My grandmother says "that's how they do it". Yep my 80 plus year old grandmother was making off colour jokes about catholic priests being pedophiles. That's the stock from whence I came.

Does that make me an infidel? Or change the fact that the catholic clergy condones pedophilia?

Probably in the other threads where somehow he is able to "rope a dope" all those elite, intelligent so called liberals into a multi page thread because they want to show how much smarter they are.
 
I think he should be also charged with child abuse as if he had done the physical act himself. Covering up is allowing it to continue. It may as well be him physically allowing it.
