Arch Linux Desktop Choices

Which desktop do you prefer for Arch Linux? I've been using Gnome but I'm not too happy with it. Thinking about trying KDE Plasma 5 tonight. If anyone has any opinions please share them. Also, is there anything out there that is has comparable capabilities to Unity in regards to visual eye candy?

Don't use arch, but I don't think the distro matters much. I like Xfce, and usually have e17 installed to play with. Lxde is nice too for something light.

Not sure what you don't like about Gnome but there's KDE, XFCE, MATE, Enlightenment, Cinnamon in the official repos.

Many others are in the AUR.

I installed Plasma 5 and really liking it. Gnome was ok but it just felt less polished. It's highly subjective so it isn't a slight to Gnome. I like that there are so many options.

I prefer Xfce for desktop linux. I haven't ever used Arch. I usually set ti up to have one panel on the left edge of the screen. If you're into the eye candy though, cinnamon has it.

Thanks for the advice everyone. After trying different setups I ultimately settled with Antergos/Gnome for now. I didn't even know about Antergos when I started this thread.
Antergos/Plasma is nice but Antergos' default gnome configuration is really well done. Word of caution though; I'm having performance issues with Gnome that I didn't have with Plasma.
