Just go for the five. Save them for lunch.

Or take 'em down in one sitting. Go go go! 😉

So 'hearts' can get 'disease' now, huh?

Hah, I actually took down the 5 for 5 deal back in high school. We had a track meet on a Saturday and I didn't have time to eat before we left, and I couldn't eat during the meet, so when we got done around 5:00 PM we went to Arby's. Needless to say, I made up for the meal I missed.

You talk as though eating 5 arby's sandwiches is difficult 😛

Or healthy.

It wouldn't make sense for the price to be prorated. Why would they say it was "5 for $5" unless you were getting a bulk discount? I say just get 5 (or 10), and eat them over a number of days.

A few years back, they did the 5 for $5.95 deal on these really good roast beef sandwiches (was it roast beef? I don't really remember). I sat their and ate 4 in one sitting, and gave the last to a friend. Oink.

It was...extremely. I was going to quit after about 3 & a half, but a friend bet me $20 that I couldn't finish.

It's Arby's. What the hell else is it going to be? 😉

How do you like their $7 "deli sandwiches"?? What a freakin' scam. Almost all of their food is low quality and crappy for the price you pay. A regular roast beef sandwich w/ cheddar cheese is like $5. They're no good without cheese!!

Their Market Fresh sandwiches are pretty tasty...not $7 tasty tho...I could just slap two pieces of wheat bread together with bacon, lettuce, turkey and all the fixin's...

Another question..what's the big difference between the "Arby's Melt" and the "Beef and Cheddar"...is it just the price and the bread?

Cheers,
KiM

Good point. 😀

It probably was roast beef now that I think about it.

Never had 'em. Actually I've only been to Arby's twice. I don't remember what I had the other time I was there...I suppose it was the roast beef. 😀

Yes - you have to buy 5 - but at my local arby's theres always someone willing to take 2 or 3 off your hands for $1 a pop. Then again, things work a little differently in college towns . . .

I always order the #8 (Chicken Cordon Bleu) giant-sized with curly fries and a Mountain Dew. Though I could really go for one of their roast beefs or three right now.

God, I'm soooo hungry.

Roger that, think I'm gonna run get some Chic-Fil-A before I get ready for work.

At grocery stores things are almost always prorated (buy 2 for $2 means they are just $1 each). But that isn't common anywhere else. Arby's is no exception. You will pay full price for them if you don't order 5 at a time.

I used to work at Arby's for 3 years as a sandwich maker (on and off during college). My favorite quote from that job was some old man through the drive through, "Hold on to your hat, I want 10, yes that is right, 10 roast beefs!" 15 at a time is very common, and I would have at least one order for 25 or 50 each Friday when that deal was going on. 10 was so laughably small.

Nebor, where do you live to find prices that high? I live in Nebraska and the regular with cheese is $2.29. The market fresh sandwhiches are ~$4.50. The wife and I always get a big montana with chedder, then cut it in half. With fries that is just enough for both of us and it is under $5.
