Arab states decide to break sanctions to Palestinians

What I want to know is: why did they ever comply with the sanctions in the first place? If they really cared about the Palestinians plight, they would have sent money long ago.

They probably just see peace talks developing because the sanctions have forced Hamas to accept reality, and don't want those peace talks to happen. Here's hoping the Arab League has finally lost its hold over its sacrificial lambs.

Sorry that you missed the reports of the reason they stated: the U.S. vetoed a U.N. motion to condemn Israel for killing 19 Palestinian civilians. That's why it's now. They figure the Palestinians can't get a fair shake so they're damned if they're going to continue making it hard for them.

So I guess they supported the suffering of Palestinians before, did they? These people are so full of it it's not even funny. Thankfully, they and you are not getting their/your wish, and Abbas is finally going to recognize Israel's existence, and thereby actually talk with Israel, and thereby maybe making peace with them, and thereby will give the Arab League less ammunition to condemn them with.

The Arab states have never given them a fair shake either. They love to place the blame on Israel, but they're not about to let Palestinians into their own countries either. Egypt had a wall between themselves and Palestine long before Israel started to build one...

No point was misssed....trust me!! They were looking for any reason they could fund to back out!!

Arabs dont care about each other. What I mean is there is no unity between them.

The only time they were united was when Saddam was invading and all the Arabs got scared and kissed U.S's ass and when the Arabs (Iraq) was fighting the Persians.

Now that Iraq is nothing special anymore, the Arabs are too busy competiting with each other, economically.

Ya, can you imagine if they ever tried to cooperate in something like a consortium to control oil prices? No way the Oil Producing Exporting Countries could cooperate.

The international community IS biased, but not in the way you presume. Without the US veto, Israel would be condemned for responding to an act of war. Unless we're going to pretend rockets aren't being fired from Gaza.

Until the UN condemns both sides for the violence, and then act accordingly they only act in the continuation of this violence.

From a region coveted in religious suicide bombers, the concept of respecting the value of human life is a foreign value. This is even a value they seek to destroy when they, by their leader?s promise, conquer the west.

Their support of Palestine now, is the only chance remaining for the war against Israel from inside Palestine to continue. A starving and broken people do not put up much of a fight, the aim will be to feed and rearm them so this war can continue.

If anything, the US having to be a lone voice a reason gives them promise that as soon as the US is removed from this equation, then the UN will condemn Israel and pave the way for the Palestinian people to conquer it among UN protections to do so.

And close to half of the oil producing nations are not Arab either.

You might have missed it, or it might be that you are also biased. The UN resolution that the US vetoed did condemn both Israel for the errant shelling, and the Palestinians for the rocket attack previous to that. So, the UN did condemn both sides to use your little bolding trick, but the US vetoed it.

There was one reference to the rocket attacks and nothing on Hamas statements.

The bulk of the resolution was against Israel and calling on Israel to abide by previous UN resolutions.

Which of course either have been ignored by the Arabs or were biased against Israel in the first place.
